Dataset Description

Data Files
----------

This dataset contains the archive catalog of the
Alevi-Bektashi Cultural Institute (ABK) in Cologne which are
available in various file formats. 
The catalog data is available as a Citavi database project,
as a CSV sheet, and as XML and BibTex files.

The data files were originally delivered in separate folders
according to the different data formats available. 
These Folders have been saved as zip files which users
can download depending on the data Formats which they wish
to use.

Instructions
============

The catalog data is available as Citavi database project,
as a CSV sheet, and as XML and BibTex files.
These files can be imported into specific
software for analysis purposes.


Data Curation Procedures
========================

Research data sets acquired for our SADAR Repositorium 
undergo a review prior to publishing and release. 
This ensures that data, documentation and metadata are
available in the highest standard possible to ensure the
data can be reused by others and to ease its archival
preservation process.
The curation procedures undertaken will depend on the individual
nature of each dataset.
 
In general, the following tasks are undertaken:

. Data are documentation files sent are checked for consistency and
accuracy

. If necessary, multiple data and documentation formats may be
generated for dissemination and preservation purposes

. Metadata is generated for the dataset and a Digital Object
Identifier (DOI) assigned. 

. A review for possible data protection, confidentiality issues
or legal conflicts is undertaken and if problems are identified
these are resolved in consultation with the data depositor.
